Despite women purchasing roughly 60% of wine sold in the United States, wine marketing has traditionally been shaped through the male perspective. For Demi Deng, an assistant professor in the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management, that industry irony was too intriguing to ignore.

To continue its commitment to cultivate the next generation of leaders in the global hospitality and tourism industries, the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management in the College of Human Sciences will soon offer a brand-new opportunity with the establishment of the beverage management minor to be offered to all eligible Auburn University students beginning in fall 2026.
