Gobé
Marc
Gobé is a recognized innovator in brand design and
consumer research. As President, CEO and Executive Creative
Director of the New York based, Desgrippes Gobé Group
(www.dga.com), he has been responsible for creating cutting-edge
brand design strategies for Coca-Cola, IBM, Victoria's Secret,
Ann Taylor, Sears, Godiva, Saks, Reebok, Versace, Lancôme,
Starbucks, and Gillette. As one of the top-ten brand image
development firms, Desgrippes Gobé Group specializes
in identity, product, packaging, retail, and Web design. Gobé
is the author of Citizen Brand and the bestseller, Emotional
Branding: The New Paradigm for Connecting Brands to People.
Additionally, Gobé is the developer of BrandSense and
BrandFocus, tools that allow clients to understand purchasing
behaviors. He serves on the board of the Brand Design Association
and is a member of the American Association of Advertising
Agencies, Art Directors Club, and the Fragrance Foundation.
Gobé has received design awards from magazines such
as ID, Interiors, Graphis, and VM+SD; as well as The Brand
Design Association, The Art Directors Club, and Clio. He has
been featured in or written articles for Chief Executive Officer,
Leaders, Women's Wear Daily, DNR, Harper's Bazaar, The Economist
and Mirabella. Marc Gobé has taught at the prestigious
Ecole Superieure de Dessin Industriel, in Paris, and speaks
on marketing and design at universities and conferences worldwide.
