The Department of Human Development and Family Studies and the Family Child Care Partnerships (FCCP) program of Auburn University are seeking candidates for the position of Trainer, Basic Skills. **POSITION IS IN COVINGTON, CONECUH & ESCAMBIA COUNTIES, AL. This is a 1 yr limited term appointment, continuation of employment is contingent on availability of funds**.
The minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or GED plus five years of experience. The required experience includes working with children in a child care setting; the ability to understand basic principles of developmentally appropriate practice; excellent communication skills and excellent organization and reporting/record-keeping skills.

Desired qualifications include an Associate's degree in Child Development or BA/BS in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related field desired.
