Watch as the construction of the Barbara Drummond Thorne Academic and Research Facility takes place. As the future home to the College of Human Sciences, this new facilty will be a four-story, 138,000-square-foot building located at the northeast corner of Mell Street and Roosevelt Drive. It will house teaching spaces, faculty research facilities, laboratories, classrooms, offices and common areas.
As the Barbara Drummond Thorne Academic and Research Facility takes shape, alumni and friends have meaningful opportunities to help build its legacy. Adding to its many flexible options in helping Auburn University students take the next big step in their career journey, the Department of Nutritional Sciences within the College of Human Sciences is now offering online enrollment for its renewed Dietary Manager Training Program aimed at helping those interested in becoming a Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Foodservice Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP).
