In the Department of Human Development and Family Studies we are proud to have nationally renowned faculty educating both our majors and other students across campus who take our courses as electives. We offer a diverse range of courses that focus on the family and close relationships at all stages of the life cycle from infancy to adulthood, as well as professional development and ethics, research, and study abroad experiences. Our talented faculty have received numerous awards and recognitions for excellence in teaching, research, and outreach and take pride in the fact that learning is often enhanced by practical experiences that occur outside the boundaries of the classroom.
