Computer Labs
The College of Human Sciences maintains its own computer lab in Spidle Hall. The lab provides students with access to numerous software suites for writing and data processing.
Library
The main library at Auburn University contains over 2.5 million volumes, including 11,250 journals. The catalog of library holdings is accessible electronically through the campus network. The Department of Human Development and Family Studies is conveniently located adjacent to the library.
Research Resources
The Department of Human Development and Family Studies maintains a professional-quality video editing and coding laboratory. Super-VHS, Hi-8 (mm), and digital video editing equipment is housed in this facility, along with numerous stationary and portable monitor/recorder/playback units.
The Auburn University Early Learning Center, Harris Early Learning Center of Birmingham, and the Marriage and Family Therapy Center provide readily available subjects for research about child and family development.
