Please check with Academic affairs in Room 266 for a schedule of when room 244 is avaliable.

This is a How-to guide for using Room 244

You must reserve any of the rooms in order to use them for presentations, or classes. The doors to this room will be locked, Human Sciences office keys should open this room.

When you walk into room 244 the lights will be immediately on your right when you enter the room.

All of the Audio/Visual Equipment is on your left if you just walked into the room.

If you are facing the door then it will be on your right. As the picture below shows.

There are two cabinets here that need to be opened. Opening the door on the left side will be much easier. You can open both sides however. These doors are never locked.

After opening the doors you will see the computer. Turn the computer on first. There is also a Digital Presenter(LCD Overhead), VCR/DVD Player.

Lower the screen on the wall if it is not already lowered.

When the computer is on, and you can see the login screen on the monitor in the cabinet, you will need to push the power button for the projector.

After a few seconds you will see a 30-15 second countdown on the projector. When this has completed press the button marked "Computer"
The screen will first turn to black then the computer should show up.
If you don't see the computer screen on the wall then press the "computer" button again. (See the above figure.)

Use the wireless keyboard to log onto the Domain. The wireless keyboard can be used from anywhere within the room. If you prefer however there is a wired keyboard and mouse within the cabinet.

Once you are finished using the computer, or other multimedia equipment, please turn the computer off by going to the "Start" menu and selecting "Shut Down."

Next hit the "OK" button to shut down.

Wait for the green light on the computer to go off. Now turn off the projector by pressing the power button on the panel again, and holding it down for 5 seconds.

Please put all of the equipment back in the cabinet, and turn out the lights and lock the door. Thank You for your help.
