Welcome to the Auburn University College of Human Sciences. As a student in the College of Human Sciences, you will examine how global challenges influence well-being and learn how science, innovation, and service come together to enhance everyday life. Our faculty and students are human scientists—studying how the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the environments we shape, and the relationships we build all play a vital role in quality of life.

An exciting new chapter is underway for our college. Construction is in progress on a new, state-of-the-art home for the College of Human Sciences, scheduled to open in Fall 2027. This cutting-edge facility will feature advanced laboratories, innovative learning spaces, and collaborative environments designed to support teaching, research, and experiential learning at the highest level. During construction, the College of Human Sciences—with the exception of the Hospitality Management program—is housed in Haley Center, continuing our work and momentum as we prepare for the future.
