Scholarships

The College of Human Sciences awards departmental scholarships annually in the same timeline as the other colleges and schools at Auburn University. Departmental scholarships are mostly donor funded scholarships awarded based on the information submitted by students on the AUSOM application. The AUSOM application can be found in a student’s AUAccess Account. Most departmental scholarships will award at $1000–$2000 and they are one year, one time only awards. To ensure maximum consideration, it is imperative that students submit their fully filled out AUSOM application by the annual deadline set by the University Scholarship Office. All scholarships from Auburn University are awarded in the spring for the following academic year. Students selected to receive an award are notified in their AUSOM application and by an email to their TigerMail account.

How to Apply

Financial Aid

The College of Human Sciences highly recommends all students to fill out and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, called a FAFSA. The FAFSA is submitted online. When filling out the FAFSA, students should submit the code for Auburn University in order to send the information to Auburn. The FAFSA will open on October 1 every year for the following academic year. We recommend all students submit FAFSA by December 1 for maximum scholarship consideration.
