What advice would you offer to someone thinking about graduate school?
My biggest advice is to make sure you find an advisor who is a good match for you; not just in terms of research interests, but also in mentorship style and values. Graduate school is a long journey, and having an advisor who supports your growth, goals, and well-being makes all the difference! What has surprised you about being a graduate student?
